Ecommerce website design in South Africa

An online shop where customers pay by payment link or order on WhatsApp, with up to 50 products and a fixed price.

What the Ecommerce plan includes

  • Everything in the Business plan, including SEO, up to 4 small edits a month and one blog post a month.
  • Up to 50 products. We load the first 10 and you add the rest.
  • Payment links (Yoco or PayFast) and orders by WhatsApp.
  • Unlimited pages and a shop built on WordPress.
  • Live in 2 to 4 weeks.

Price: R3 499 once off, then R599 a month. You pay 50% to start and 50% when the shop is finished. See every limit on the pricing page.

How customers pay

A small shop does not always need a full checkout with a cart. Many South African sellers do better with two simple routes:

  • Payment link. The customer picks a product and pays by card or instant EFT through a payment provider such as Yoco or PayFast.
  • WhatsApp order. The customer taps a button, a message with the product name opens, and you confirm the order and delivery by chat.

The payment provider charges its own fees on each sale, and those do not go to Kasisite. The website cost guide shows how those fees add up on a R500 order.

When this plan is not the right fit

It is built for shops with up to 50 products and owners who are happy to confirm some orders by WhatsApp. If you need thousands of products, stock sync with other systems, courier rate calculation at checkout or a marketplace, message us. That is a bigger build, and we will tell you honestly what it would involve before you pay anything.

Why WhatsApp orders work for small sellers

Customers already use WhatsApp every day. A shop that lets them ask a question about size, stock or delivery before they pay removes the biggest reason people leave a checkout page. Every product page can carry its own WhatsApp button, so the product name arrives in the message.

Questions people ask

How much does an online shop cost in South Africa?

Agency prices for online stores range from about R13 000 to R60 000, and large stores cost more. The Kasisite Ecommerce plan is R3 499 once off plus R599 a month for up to 50 products. Compare them in the website cost guide.

Which payment providers can I use?

Payment links through Yoco or PayFast. You open your own account with the provider, so payouts go straight to you.

Can I add more than 50 products?

The plan covers up to 50 products. If you grow past that, message us and we will quote a bigger setup.

Do I need to know WordPress?

No. We build the shop and load the first 10 products. You can add the rest yourself, or ask us on WhatsApp.

How long does a shop take?

2 to 4 weeks, depending on how quickly we get your product photos, prices and descriptions.
