Small business website design in South Africa
A fast, mobile-friendly website that shows your work, your prices and a WhatsApp button, built for a fixed price and live in 7 days.
Who this is for
This is for owners of small businesses who want a professional website without paying R8 000 to R40 000 for a custom build. If you run a workshop, a salon, a catering company, a trade or a one-person service, a clear website is often the first place a new customer checks you out. Read the website cost guide to see what other South African studios charge.
What you get
You choose one of two plans for a small business website. Every limit is written down on the pricing page.
- Starter, from R1 499 once off: up to 5 pages, hosting, a free domain and SSL certificate for the first year, a WhatsApp button on every page and one round of changes before launch.
- Business, R899 once off then R499 a month: up to 10 pages, SEO, up to 4 small edits a month, one blog post a month, WhatsApp support and Google Business Profile set-up if you do not have one.
Not sure which one fits? A site that rarely changes suits Starter. If you want to keep improving and ranking on Google, choose Business. Learn what the SEO covers on our website SEO page.
How it works, step by step
- Message us on WhatsApp. Tell us what your business does and which plan you like.
- Send your details. Your business name, services, prices, logo and photos. If you do not have a logo, tell us and we will work with what you have.
- Pay 50% to start. The other 50% is due when the site is finished.
- Review and approve. You see the site before it goes live and tell us what to change.
- Go live in 7 days for Starter and Business sites.
Why every site is built for phones first
Most South Africans get online on a phone. So each Kasisite website is designed for a small screen first, kept light so it loads on slow data, and checked on a phone before it goes live. Large desktop screens are covered too, but the phone comes first.
What every small business website should show
- What you do, in plain words, above the fold.
- Your prices, or "from" prices if they change from job to job.
- Photos of real work, not stock pictures.
- How and when to reach you, with a WhatsApp button that opens a ready-to-send message.
- Your area, address or hours, matching your Google Business Profile.
